🚀 About The Role
As a Dev Ops, Automation and QA Software Engineer, you’ll join our AI & Data Science team to design and optimize the systems that power Newton Tech’s movement-based health products. You’ll work closely with engineers, clinicians, researchers, and designers to bring cutting-edge healthtech products to life and into the hands of users who need them.
💼 What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows

Automate data processing tasks to reduce manual effort and improve performance

Work with orchestration tools (e.g., Dagster, Airflow, Prefect) to schedule and monitor workflows

Maintain and manage databases to ensure data integrity and reliability
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and address data requirements
-
Optimize, troubleshoot, and monitor workflows for performance and uptime
-
Implement QA processes for data validation and workflow accuracy

Technical Skills

Strong programming experience in Python for automation and data processing

Proficiency with workflow orchestration tools (Dagster, Airflow, or Prefect)

Experience building scalable ETL pipelines and working with large datasets

Solid SQL and relational database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments

Experience with Git, GitHub, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
-
Understanding of DevOps principles and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Background in QA automation and data validation

Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

IT and network administration experience

Experience with BI tools and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, ELK, Grafana)
